ABOUT
ME
I've been painting and drawing since I was 1 1/2 years old. It's always been my greatest passion to put all my thoughts on paper, and later, obviously, on skin.
My grandparents were wonderful artists, and I think I've certainly inherited some of their talent. To this day, they are great role models for me. Another major influence is, of course, fashion from all eras and cultures around the world. Fashion will always have a certain influence on my work as a tattoo artist.

ABOUT
THE ATELIER
"LE FILOU" is located near the Black Forest in the southwest of Germany, in the heart of the town of Horb am Neckar.
The atelier is in a half-timbered house built in 1519. Formerly the residence of Maria Johanna von Stuben and later used as a dyeworks, among other things, I am now honored to be working here with Dan.
As we are a private atelier, the atelier is closed to the public; therefore, you need an appointment to get in. :)
ABOUT
THE WEBSTORE
We try to open the webstore twice a year, but of course that depends a lot on how well I or we manage to create new products for you. If you happen to miss an opening, don't worry; you can also get my merch at some tattoo conventions.
However, starting in 2026, there will be most likely a clearence sale once every two years, as well as a misprint sale (if available). This sale will be limited to sales and misprints only. For now, this clearance and misprint sale will be restricted to the Schengen Area, Cyprus, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
All webstore openings featuring my new products will continue to offer worldwide* shipping.
ABOUT
IKIGAI.THREATS
IKIGAI.THREATS, and therefore Dan, primarily handles graphic design aspects, such as the webstore and merchandise.
However, IKIGAI.THREATS also results in collaborations with me, like the Aura; Unda; Terra Edition and its accompanying wooden boxes as well as the "Tiny Arts".
Additionally, IKIGAI.THREATS (though rarely) produces prints and shirts – mostly featuring cats and silly or socially critical slogans. Dan sees the project more as a fun project than as something to be taken too seriously.
In the studio, Dan also occasionally transforms into his alter ego—a very grumpy janitor from East Germany named "Volker" who keeps a watchful eye on everything. Volker’s hobbies include petting one-eyed cats and sweeping the studio while admonishing everyone for trivial matters.
